LOCATION
Land-locked country, Zambia is mainly composed of a set of plates from 900 to 2100 meters above sea level. The bass region of the country is in the south, along the Zambezi Valley. The tropical climate is tempered by altitude. The country is covered savannah tree. The Zambian territory is bordered by lakes Tanganyika and Mweru in the north-east and the vast artificial lake Kariba to the south. On the inside, there are a few lakes: at the centre in the region of Lusaka, and north-east to Lake Bangweulu.
